Instruction
Ethan holds a Master of Music from the New England Conservatory, where he studied with Andrew Sandwick of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and a Bachelor of Music (Highest Distinction) from the Eastman School of Music — two of the most prestigious conservatories in the United States.
His orchestral experience includes performances with the Kent-Blossom Chamber Orchestra, coached by members of the Cleveland Orchestra. He has taught at Vienna Band Camp and maintains an active private studio in Northern Virginia.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and current level. Whether you’re preparing for a conservatory audition, developing foundational technique, or exploring the clarinet for the first time, Ethan builds a structured path forward. Emphasis is placed on tone production, technical fluency, musical expression, and the habits that lead to lasting progress.
